Vacation: Day 4

Today started out, sleeping in (as much as you can with 5 kids in the house) then had some breakfast. After breakfast we loaded up the cars with a picnic lunch, lots of bottled water and a change of clothes for the kids and headed to Chimney Rock Park!
What a great time we had hiking a few trails, having a picnic, seeing the sites, taking lots of pictures and best of all being with family!!! We absolutely loved this park and would really like to go back when we get a chance, it was so beautiful there!

After we finished at the park, we first had a lot of water to drink then said our goodbye's and headed our separate ways home. The kids were sound asleep before we could even get down the mountain, I think they were not only tired from the day at the park but from the whole vacation.
As always when we get back from vacation we wish it had lasted longer.

Thankfully we live close enough to our family that we can go see them often (maybe even again this summer if we're lucky)!!!
