Baby boy at 5 months old

Tomorrow he will be 6 months old, already half a year old!
His 5th month has been a busy one.
We have struggled with sickness the last couple weeks. We've had congestion, fever, ear infections, a slight case of pink eye, and with the cold weather brings eczema and skin sensitivity. Hopefully we are on the healing end of everything and will be all better by Thanksgiving next week.
Baby boy also took his longest trip so far in his 5th month...we traveled to Arkansas for Aunt Dawn's & Uncle Michael's wedding. He did remarkable well for having to stay in his car-seat for so long and the time we got to spend with our family in Arkansas was so much fun, wish we could have stayed longer.
Another milestone this month is his 1st AND 2nd teeth! The 2nd tooth made its way through the skin shortly after his first tooth, he looks so adorable with those 2 little teeth showing through when he smiles!!
Here are some pictures of our sweet boy in his 5th month.....

Enjoying time with his (great) Pawpaw
Learning to sit by himself...
but not unprotected yet, thankfully.
Rockin the cloth diaper!
All ready for bed
Zzzzzzz

Our sweet, messy haired, sleepy eyed children first thing in the morning, all sitting still and watching morning cartoons.....
I love these babies!!!

Birthday Girl!!!

Last week we celebrated our little girl's 3rd birthday! Wow, where has time gone?!
My sister Dawn called me the day of our little girl's birthday and we reminisced about the day she was born and what a wonderful day it was. I have beautiful and wonderful memories of the birth of our sweet girl!
The last 3 years have been amazing, not always easy to be honest, having to deal with our little girl having severe eczema has been one of the biggest struggles we have faced since being married and having children but I can say without a doubt that she has been well worth it! (:
She is beautiful, strong willed, dramatic, encouraging, spiteful, joyful and so much more!
The Lord has blessed us beyond our wildest dreams with this little girl!
I'm so excited to see where her future is going to go, not in any big hurry to have her grown but I pray and believe the Lord will use her greatly!
I don't know what I would do without our precious girl, our hearts overflow with love for her, she's our baby girl and always will be, again the Lord has blessed us beyond what we could have hoped or dreamed!

This year she wanted a "GREEN" birthday party, her favorite color, no theme, just green!! It was fun, we decorated with green, made a green cake, most of us wore green clothes and we even had green presents! She loved it and that's all that matters!

Favorite conversation of the day:

Me: looking at my messy kitchen "where is the maid? I wish she would hurry and get here"
Our big boy: "What's a maid?"
Me: "A person who comes to clean your house"
Big boy: "Well, we could always call Grandmother!!!"

I love my big boy!!! (:

First Tooth!

He turned 5 months old and cut his very first tooth today!
You might not be able to see it very good in this picture but we can definitely feel that sharp little tooth poking through the skin!

I wish I could say he's going to be able to take a break from teething now but it appears he is already working on tooth #2.

"Poses" for Mommy!

I got a new camera a few weeks ago (my old one was dropped by a little person who I won't say) and we had to get a new one, this mommy can't go very long without a camera or I would go crazy.
On this day I decided to play with my new camera AND my kids.....it's a great combination! (:

Here are a few of my candid shots:

A true shot of him (he didn't stay mad long)
(not a normal pose for them at all) lol!

A Recent Project

Recently we switched the kids rooms. 2 boys verses 1 girl means the boys get the bigger room so it was time to switch.
Since our little boy is really loving Super Mario Brothers we decided to paint his room with it.

Here are the BEFORE pictures:

DURING:
Titus let him help a little & he loved it!

It sat like this for about a week till Titus had his next days off work and could work on it some more
the sharpie marker worked great for outlining
we found these super cute wall stickers that we used and they work great

AFTER:
