Baby boy at 5 months old

Tomorrow he will be 6 months old, already half a year old!

His 5th month has been a busy one.

We have struggled with sickness the last couple weeks. We've had congestion, fever, ear infections, a slight case of pink eye, and with the cold weather brings eczema and skin sensitivity. Hopefully we are on the healing end of everything and will be all better by Thanksgiving next week.

Baby boy also took his longest trip so far in his 5th month...we traveled to Arkansas for Aunt Dawn's & Uncle Michael's wedding. He did remarkable well for having to stay in his car-seat for so long and the time we got to spend with our family in Arkansas was so much fun, wish we could have stayed longer.

Another milestone this month is his 1st AND 2nd teeth! The 2nd tooth made its way through the skin shortly after his first tooth, he looks so adorable with those 2 little teeth showing through when he smiles!!

First Tooth!

He turned 5 months old and cut his very first tooth today!

You might not be able to see it very good in this picture but we can definitely feel that sharp little tooth poking through the skin!

I wish I could say he's going to be able to take a break from teething now but it appears he is already working on tooth #2.

Baby boy at 4 months old

I know I'm long overdue and I'm not going to even try to go back and catch up on all the things I should have been blogging about...I'm just going to pick it up from here. I'm learning that mommies of 3 little kids don't have as much time to blog as mommies who have 2 little kids but, I'm still going to try to blog when I can. (:

Our baby turns 5 months old tomorrow and he is growing like crazy, learning new things every day, changing his looks (although most people still tell me he looks like his mommy or my side of the family), finally sleeping through the night, working on cutting his first tooth, discovering new things like his hands, how to roll all the way over, how to play with toys, chew on everything he can get to his mouth and lastly he has discovered his voice, its not crying or winning, just really loud baby talking! (: He is still a very good baby for us and hardly ever cries, we have been so blessed with a happy, easy going baby!

Baby Boy at 2 months old

Can't believe he is 2 months old (almost 3 months now)! Time goes by so fast when we're having fun!

He has been an unbelievable easy baby. He's so happy all the time and really only cries when he's hungry or has a good reason to be. He's even patient with his older siblings who are still learning how to be careful with a baby. (:

He has yet to sleep through the night but I think he's getting close. He normally wakes up around 4am and then again at 8 or so. He likes to sleep on his tummy but I'm not to comfortable letting him sleep on his tummy at night so for now its just naps on his belly and sleeping on his back at night.

When we took him for his check-up a few weeks ago he weighed 13lbs and 5 oz. It seemed like a lot to me at the time but later I looked at the other kids baby books and they were both 13 lbs at 2 months old too. I guess I just want to keep him a little baby forever. (:

a little catching up

So, yes....3 kids most certainly takes up more of my time then 2 kids....much, much more time. I have wanted to sit down and post something on my blog so many times but honestly holding my sweet newborn baby just seemed more appealing to me at the time. When I haven't been holding, feeding, changing, bathing, dressing or in any way taking care of our baby I've been doing laundry, dishes, putting toys away, cleaning, cooking, taking care of the 2 oldest ones and their daddy ect.... You know how it goes!! (:

I'm very in-love with my life as it is right now, the Lord has been SO GOOD to me!

I have a few minutes right now so I'm going to try to put up a few pictures...facebook just seems to be a little more faster and easier these days but I still really enjoy my blog so here goes.

Waiting for baby...

I'm now at 38 weeks along and VERY READY to have this baby boy!
Signs and symptoms and my doctor have been telling me for 2 weeks that he will be here very soon, which has of course made me get my hopes up and become anxious but yet....
I'm still waiting. (:
I always tell myself I'm not going to get anxious and I'll just expect to have the baby around the due date but yet I always get my hopes up as soon as I hit 36 weeks.
I keep trying to remind myself that this can't last forever and it will for-sure happen in the next few weeks, it seems to help me some! (:

Baby update

Well we have made it safely to 31 weeks along. Only 5 weeks left of bed-rest and hopefully not much longer after that till we hold another little miracle in our arms! I feel fine and the doctor and ultrasounds show that the baby is doing fine, something I'm always so grateful to hear and see!

Baby Prep Fever...

I couldn't wait any longer...I had to get the box of all our baby boy clothes out and go through it! Now I'm all excited and anxious for him to hurry and get here! Still have 9 to 12 weeks to go so I'm trying not to get to anxious but it's not easy now.
