January Snow Day
Snow, snow and more snow!! Here are a few pictures of our last big snow. The kids had a great time playing, until they got cold and remembered the hot chocolate waiting for them in the house. (:

Swing-set Day 3
Today we finally were able to go out and play on the new swing-set!!! The kids had SO MUCH FUN!!! They cried when we had to come inside this evening. We are looking forward to spending many more pretty days in the backyard playing!!!

Swing-set Day 2
Day 2 was very productive and thankfully they got everything but the roof on the playhouse part done, yay!!! Titus and 3 very helpful men came and got it put together and some of them stayed and worked till 9:30 last night, wow!
It started raining so they took everything to the carport and worked there.
Finally got all the boards together and are moving it off the carport.

So, as you can see it was almost dark. By the time they got it level and got the swings and monkey bars attached, it was so dark I couldn't take any more pictures. I'll post pictures of the finished project later.

Swing-set Day 1
Finally its beginning to look like a swing-set!!!
So the story goes....last summer we very much wanted to get a swing-set for the kids to play on but as much as we tried we couldn't save the money for one and we weren't willing to go in debt for one. Needless to say we made several trips to the playgrounds nearby last Summer and Fall.
We are so excited that this year the Lord has provided us the money for a swing-set! Its not huge and extravagant but we are just very thankful that it has what we were looking for and a big plus for us is that it was on-sale!!!
Yesterday evening Titus and his brother Brandon started putting it together and got about half of it done before it got dark outside and they had to stop. Today we are planning to get it finished (if it's not pouring rain) so I will post more pictures of the finished project later!

All that's missing is the middle part!
